The main reason I was excited about writing for SimpleMom is that the readership there is so different – and hence the material I would challenge myself to write . For me it is a great way to give some energy to a part of me that I otherwise suppress!

Hi Ribbon,

Welcome to the US I am in the US – in WA state. I grew up in India – and studied British English. SO I could have really confused you about my location. But the truth is that I am pretty confused about some of my spellings and pronunciations myself! I did a lot of schooling here in a US (2 Masters Degrees) and have even worked here for a while. I tried to consciously use American English in my business papers …hence the confusion
