about

ThinkMaya blog is a place for maya thoughts. Life-inspired thoughts that apply to life, family and career.

Maya is a simple, caring, sensitive, hardworking and highly driven individual with a strong desire to learn and grow everyday. She has an incredible amount of zest and passion for life. Maya has constantly learnt from everything in her life - big or small, at home or at work, from children, animals and all relationships.

Through the years Maya has worked to get her heart, brain, mind and body to talk to each other … and perhaps that is what is unique about her. Her strength lies in taking a situation, responding intuitively, analyzing it rationally, learning from it philosophically and acting on it as a whole. In her experience all the hard work is worth it since it keeps her growing as a human being and a career woman while keeping her conscience clear, protecting her sensitive side and most importantly always increasing her passion for life. Maya has an uncanny ability to see the silver lining and has an infectious  energy about her.

This blog is a journey with Maya as she shares her life as well as strategies to manage life through the lessons she has learnt. She hopes to touch the lives and hearts of the readers who come across this blog and make a difference. Through her stories, she hopes to help people navigate the inroads of “real life” without having to compromise on their principles or spiritual selves.

She strongly believes “Maya life” has enough to share. “Maya life” has enough to inspire.

As with everything else she hopes to learn and grow from her interaction with her readers. It is about the journey and not the destination…

  • Still Life!

Thank you so much for stopping by and adding me to your blogroll. I hope you continue to find my writing interesting.

How amazing that you moved to South America to learn a language and absorb the culture. It sure must be a wonderful experience and I truly hope I am able to do that someday!

    Take care!

  • Hi Maya,

I followed you from Tom's blog.
This is a nice blog, and you have a lot to offer! However, in terms of business, I am totally clueless what you are "starup" is that you mentioned in your comment there. I scanned through some posts, but I still don't see it. Do you want to be hired as coach? Do you want this blog to make money? Or is there something else?

I wrote about this in my own recent post for aspiring entrepreneurs, but really, you need to market -- clear and loud -- and market with passion and authenticity. You've got the passion and authenticity part, so work it out to marketing.

Many blessings to you and your buz,

    Akemi Gaines

  • Hi Maya,

I love your blog not for its look but for your beautiful thoughts.
I think it's really refreshing to come across a blog that's not focused on monetizing but really sharing with the community.

    Thanks Maya!

Yes, I do like this theme although I am working on changing it here in a few weeks :). I am trying to customize another theme for a more unique look.
I am glad you like my blog. I hope you will subscribe if you have not done so already.

    Hi Sylvester,

Thank you so much. I hope you will stop by and share your thoughts. I could be writing all this down in my little black book but I write here for a reason :)
    I appreciate your comment!

    Hey there,
It’s your man Ryan here from SmarterWealth.net. I am running a competition on my blog where you can win a Flip Mino HD. Who doesn’t want to win the coolest video gadget around?
There probably won’t be that many entrants so your chances of winning will be pretty good, and the Flip Mino HD could help you boost your blog traffic by making video posts (just an idea).
Anyway if you want to enter check it out at http://www.smarterwealth.net/the-easiest-flip-m...
    Good luck
    Ryan
